Ship Creek is a fishing spot located within walking distance from downtown Anchorage.  The salmon are in season during the summer months and they can be seen swimming through the creek with the naked eye.  This area's scenery makes for a great place to go for a walk or kill a little time in Anchorage.      While I could certainly see the salmon in this creek, it seemed that more were actually being caught in the town of Homer's famous fishing hole.
