Fishing Hole - Homer

Part of the town of Homer is made up of a 4 mile long projection of land into the water, known as the Homer spit.  On this spit is the famous fishing hole that is home to some of the best fishing I saw in Alaska.  I would swear that the city was somehow constantly restocking the hole, because every fisherman in the area was pulling up fish just about as fast as they could cast. Nearly all of the other buildings on the spit are souvenier shops and restraunts.  The only thing worth seeing is the fishing hole.
